EXCESS DEATHS: Senate acknowledges horror, supports inquiry in big win for jab-victims
Victory: Queensland Supreme Court rules covid gene-vaccine mandates "unlawful"
Two days, two big wins.
Australia’s Senate yesterday voted to acknowledge the excess deaths that soared immediately after the covid gene-vaccine rollout - and to support an inquiry.
The motion, raised by Senator Ralph Babet (United Australia Party), and Senator Malcolm Roberts (One Nation) had been rejected by the Senate three times, sunk by Labor and the Greens.
They tried to sink it again yesterday.
It barely passed, 31 to 30, thanks to the United Australia Party, One Nation, the Coalition and four brave independent Senators: David Pocock, Lydia Thorpe, Jaqui Lambie, and Tammy Tyrrell.
Senator Babet said he believed it was the first time a Parliament anywhere in the world had acknowledged the problem of excess deaths - and asked why Labor and the Greens don’t want to know.
“To the Labor Party and the Greens I say: don’t you want to shine a light into dark places?” he said in a video message on X.
“Don’t you want to know why your fellow Australians are dying in greater numbers than previous years?
“Don’t you care?”

Australia’s excess deaths began rising in 2021 and have remained stubbornly above the baseline average ever since.
The problem has almost exclusively been written about by independent journalists on Substack and elsewhere including Rebekah Barnett here, here and here; myself here, here and here; and Clare Pain here.
Corporate media has consistently ignored or minimised the problem.
The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) is trying to blame the excess deaths on covid, such as in this ABC piece from December.
However, the Australian Medical Professionals’ Society (AMPS) held its own inquiry then produced an exhaustively thorough book (available for free download here) that conclusively demonstrates the problem is not covid.
“Powerful temporal associations with the vaccine rollout cannot be ignored when they are placed alongside the record number of notifications to the TGA adverse event database,” AMPS secretary Kara Thomas wrote in a letter to Australia’s top health bureaucrats in November.
The ABS reported in March, 2023, that the provisional mortality figure for 2022 was 190,394, which was 15.3 percent above the historical average, leaving 25,235 excess dead Australians.
The ABS said only 10,095 of these deaths (less than half) were due to covid. That means 15,140 excess deaths in 2022 were not due to covid.
But astonishingly, a new ABS report that vanished the non-covid excess deaths appeared just two weeks before Moderna executives had to answer tough questions at a Senate Committee inquiry.
The ABS changed its methodology, and the non-covid excess deaths instantly disappeared.
In July the ABS put out a report called Measuring Australia's excess mortality during the COVID-19 pandemic until the first quarter 2023.
In it, the number of 2022 excess deaths went down to 18,634. The ABS then included a new “deaths above usual variation” figure to reduce that down to 10,587.
In another table the ABS listed the number of 2022 deaths “from or with covid” at 13,154.
Hey presto! The non-covid excess deaths more than disappeared if you take the “deaths above usual variation” figure.
Two weeks later, on August 3, when Senator Malcolm Roberts asked Moderna if they could explain why excess deaths went up with the gene-vaccine rollout, Moderna director of scientific leadership Asia Pacific Chris Clarke blamed it on covid.
Australia is not the only jurisdiction in which non-covid excess dead people are disappearing.
The same has recently happened in the UK, as Dr John Campbell explains in the video below, uploaded to YouTube on February 23, archived at Rumble here.
According to the nine Bradford Hill Criteria of Causation the covid gene-vaccines must be considered a possible cause of these excess deaths.
The problem surfaced shortly after the gene-vaccine rollout began, the same phenomena has been seen in other countries that distributed the same products - but not in jurisdictions that did not, and there are multiple plausible mechanisms of harm.
Dr Campbell has shown in a separate video (below) that the excess deaths in the UK and US respectively are greater than those killed in the London Blitz and Vietnam War respectively - and are being ignored throughout the English-speaking world.
A simple metric could settle the matter.
Australia’s federal Department of Health and Aged Care needs to release the all-cause-mortality figures stratified by age and vaccinal status.
This data, expressed as a proportion of the number of people in the relevant cohort (to remove the confound of having larger numbers of jabbed people) is all that is needed to see what the damage is.
This should be easy, the government collected excellent data during the pandemic.
But the Health Department has refused (repeatedly) to release this data for years, claiming it’s complicated and that they are working on their methodology for how to calculate it.
They also refuse to release the raw data (de-identified) so willing statistical experts such as mathematics Professor Norman Fenton could analyse it.
Hopefully, thanks to the hard work of Senator Ralph Babet and the other honourable Senators along with AMPS who fought so hard to have this issue heard, Australia might be able to address this issue.
A SECOND VICTORY: two wins in two days
A Supreme Court judge in Queensland has ruled that covid gene-vaccine mandates for workers violated the Human Rights Act (HRA) - and were therefore unlawful.
The landmark ruling (here) found in favour of dozens of Queensland Police and Ambulance Service staff who challenged the coerced injections.
On Tuesday, Justice Glenn Martin found the directive, which forced staff to inject a medical product or lose their jobs, breached Section 58 of Queensland’s Human Rights Act 2019.
The Act states that all public service employees must give proper consideration to human rights before making a decision, and decisions must be compatible with human rights.
Justice Martin restrained the Queensland Police Commissioner from enforcing or taking disciplinary action based on the unlawful directions against any of the applicants.
He issued the same restraint against the Director-General of Queensland Health.
The courtroom erupted in cheers, ABC News reported.
As Rebel News noted: this decision highlights the importance of upholding human rights standards, especially during times of emergency such as the covid pandemic.
Senator Malcolm Roberts, who campaigned against the mandates for years, was quick to celebrate the victory on X.
“Justice has been a long time coming, but the dam wall is starting to break,” he said on X.
Corrections/updates: 27/02/24 Fixed a dropped-off caption, fixed “Vietnam” to “Vietnam War”, added that Senator Malcolm Roberts (One Nation) also helped move the excess deaths motion.
Most of my substacks are about excess deaths in the absence of flu in 2021. Ordered $937 worth of data from the ABS to draw it in tight. Must get back to that.
Wow! Great thing on the mandates.
Shocked that Jacquie Lambie voted Yes - she was at psycho stage speaking against the no mandatory vaccination bill. Also shocked that Lydia Thorpe voted Yes. Don't know the background of that.
NOTE: the Queensland Supreme Court victory is a win to celebrate but it is a limited win. In his ruling, Justice Martin said the limit on human rights posed by the mandates was justified. The workers won on procedural grounds - which means the win is not a precedent and won't protect Queenslanders or anyone else in future cases. It leaves the state unconstrained to do this to us again and again.
There is no easy fix -.we must change the laws to protect our human rights from being trampled on.
They are rights - you have a RIGHT to say no to a medical procedure and we must change the law to protect this right absolutely
