oh goodness thank you Dr Altman, you've been the guiding light for all of us. Your energy and expertise has exposed what has gone wrong so it can be fixed. Thank YOU
i hope the culpable people in the bureaucracies lose their jobs first and foremost. They cannot be left in place to do this again, there must be consequences. So many people who refused that gene-vaccine lost their jobs that it just wouldn't be right for the perpetrators to carry on without any consequences whatsoever. they must lose their positions.
I’d like to see John Skerrit put on the stand. I watched his interview ‘live’ by Denham Hitchcock (pericarditis from jab) on IG and when Hitchcock asked how the TGA discerned between which reported deaths to investigate or not, Skerrit stated if they are elderly or terminally ill, what is the point?
Then the interview was heavily edited and that statement was scrapped. That alone is incriminating.
I’ve brought this up with Denham multiple times.. he knows but is on a payroll I guess 😔
I would like to see an independent inquiry also, a royal commission, a proper investigation. This system has to be fixed because it really is a threat to public health. It's just insane to tell drug companies to police their own products, then to scan social media - all while you censor social media. It's just appalling.
The actions of AHPRA throughout the covid debacle have been unconscionable. Correspondence requesting they review and adjust their position on vaccine mandates (and mass childhood vaccination) in late 2021 was met with similar nonsense-responses to the one quoted in this piece. Their farcical attempts to justify their position using ethics codes, of which they were in egregious breach, remains utterly unbelievable to me. They have failed in their duty in the most spectacular way possible and must be held accountable, regardless of time passed (so too must those within government, the TGA and ATAGI).
yes and it frustrates me that they are still all in the same positions, earning their paycheck, paying their mortgages as if they hadn't destroyed thousands of lives through incompetence.
Absolutely. I can only hope that, in the quiet moments, they are unable to escape that knowledge, and I hope it haunts them for the rest of their lives. I cautioned regarding the harm they would be facilitating way back then, and I'm sure my voice was just one of a great many. They can never say they didn't know or weren't warned.
Thank you. It certainly did come at a great cost. My husband was sacked and I surrendered my AHPRA registration which ended my nursing career. We were forced from our home and many of our relationships have been irrevocably damaged. Yet we do not regret any of our decisions in navigating these last several years. I am angry, sad and resentful, yes, but also proud to have stood up for my professional and personal values when it really counted. Of course we are two of a great number of people significantly affected by the covid response, many of whom have suffered in worse ways than us. Thank you so much for your dedication and determination in reporting on these situations and pushing for accountability. It's an important but exhausting job.
Oh my goodness, I am so sorry for what happened to you. I am angry on your behalf!! You are heroes, both of you and it makes me sad to think there is no recognition from government for what they did. Good luck I hope 2024 brings you plenty of joy and reward.
Thank you for your kind words of support, Alison, they mean a lot to me. I am hopeful that 2024 may bring positive things for all of us in regard to these issues, and also a good measure of joy. Life is full of cruelty and unfairness, I want to take care to look for and savour the moments of joy and gratitude which are also a part of our life journeys, as we continue to fight for justice. Warmest wishes to you and yours for a happy, healthy and prosperous 2024.
This post exemplifies PERFECTLY the absolute futility of engaging in any process/commission of enquiry/consultation orchestrated by the existing Australian regime under the current political system. This is a farce and by engaging with it, we only legitimise it further.
As the saying goes:
"You cannot solve a problem with the same means that created it in the first place".
Trying to do so is literally Einstein's definition of Insanity!
This post of mine becomes more and more pertinent as time goes by:
Did I mention anything about "Utopia"? If so, that was definitely not my intention and I apologise.
What I am saying is that the world as we knew it in 2019 is GONE...and it will never (ever!) come back...no matter what we do.
Therefore, instead of trying to figure out how to work within the confines of the existing system in an attempt to bring back the "good old days" prior to March 2020, we should focus our collective effort on how to create the society we want going forward.
When you arrive to a fork in the road, the option to keep going straight is no longer available, no matter how much you'd like it to be.
Exactly. Thank you. Signing petitions, writing letters, hoping for royal commissions and kicking cans down roads.....if I wasn't aware of how brainwashed people were.....you'd be forgiven for thinking it was control op.
Excellent commentary Alison. Thank you for your work to educate people and uncover the truth.

It's all starting to unravel, despite the attempts to hide it. Jeff Childer's "Coffee and Covid" substack has some good summaries: https://www.coffeeandcovid.com/p/multi-dimensional-wednesday-december
The jailer's keys will soon be jangling for Skerrit, Kelly, Murphy et al.

good on you for speaking up, that always came with a cost in the pandemic.

yes the system we have has been corrupted but I'd rather fix it than wipe it away for some promise of utopia
it took centuries to build. any idea of a utopia after you destroy this system is just an illusion.

that is a good point, michael

well, those are all strategies that are open to us, and we can all try to help the situation as best we can with the tools we have.
