GLOBAL BOILING: Australia's hottest days were 100 years before the C02 scare, but the weather bureau isn't reporting them

United Australia Party national director Craig Kelly caught the Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) incorrectly reporting the nation’s hottest temperatures - and a week later, they still haven’t corrected their webpage.
The BoM said via email they are aware of the historic temperature found by Mr Kelly but will not be including it because it was recorded with non-standard equipment and could not be validated.
As of Saturday, the Bureau still says the nation’s hottest temperature ever recorded was 50.7C in January, 2022, at Western Australia’s Onslow Airport.
But Mr Kelly searched the National Archives and found that White Cliffs, NSW had reached 124F (51.1C) in 1939.
It gets so hot at White Cliffs that people live underground in caves. As of the 2021 Census it had just 156 people.
The tiny opal mining town 255km northeast of Broken Hill reached 51.1C on January 12 during a terrible heatwave more than 80 years ago, the archived entry recorded.
On Saturday, January 13, Mr Kelly tweeted a video showing the original log-book entry.
Letters From Australia checked if that temperature had been reported elsewhere, by looking up old newspapers at the NSW State Library archives.
Sure enough, the Sydney Morning Herald reported it on 13 January, 1939.
It was indeed an awful heatwave. Birds fell lifeless from the sky, the Daily Telegraph reported. More than 60 people died in NSW. They dropped dead of heatstroke, their names listed sadly in the newspapers.
Fires broke out across Victoria killing scores of people who tried to flee, melting the metal off the Model-T Fords.

The White Cliffs record was not the nation’s hottest - that was in 1909, at Bourke, 800km northwest of Sydney, when the mercury climbed to 125F (51.7C).
That is one full degree celsius hotter than the BoM’s claimed highest temperature in 2022.
Mr Kelly said on X (formerly Twitter) that the BoM had “disappeared” the historic hottest record to support the idea that temperatures were increasing now in the era of “global boiling”.
There are other possible explanations for the BoM’s omission, such as simple error, or that the record was overlooked during digitisation.
Letters From Australia asked the Bureau on Wednesday morning if they were aware of the error and if so why they hadn’t corrected the website, how it happened and also whether the BoM is under pressure to exaggerate recent temperature maximums to support the “climate crisis” agenda.
The Bureau replied via email on Monday:
“The Bureau of Meteorology is aware of the reported observation of 124 °F (51.1 °C) at White Cliffs on 10 January 1939.
The screen at White Cliffs is non-standard before 1947, in that it did not have a door. The 1939 observations from White Cliffs were not recorded using equipment comparable to modern equipment.
The site was upgraded with a standardised Sevenson screen in the mid-1940s. As a result, the 1939 paper record at White Cliffs showing temperatures in excess of 50C cannot be validated.
We will not be changing the Extremes Table on our website, as it excludes reports using non-standard equipment.

The fear-based “global boiling” agenda is pushed by globalists at the United Nations, corporate lobby group World Economic Forum (WEF), and billionaires such as Bill Gates.
It was UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres who said in July that “the era of global boiling has arrived”.
Doing his best to scare the public, the UN reported Mr Guterres as saying it would be “terrifying”, resulting in “families running from the flames (and) workers collapsing in scorching heat”.
The reality is that “carbon dioxide as a climate driver” is a disputed claim based on faulty computer models unable to produce accurate predictions since climate is a complex system where some variables are not understood.
The “Global Boiling” fear campaign serves a dual political function.
Firstly it diverts young activists away from meaningful causes that would help the world but harm corporate interests, such as demanding the break-up of Monsanto, Raytheon, Bayer or Pfizer.
Instead they get to scream their lungs out about the air that plants breathe while Australia’s energy resources are exported wholesale to Japan, China, South Korea and India.
Secondly it allows globalists to empower themselves with “global governance” at the expense of national sovereignty, because you need more “global governance” to solve a vague global problem. That means more money and power for them and the advance of the WEF’s Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Climate change protests are corporate-approved protests.
That’s why children are organised to wag school and the authorities don’t shoot Extinction Rebellion with rubber bullets like they did in Melbourne to those who protested against coerced gene-based injections during Covid.

The BOM has been taken over by Climate Change Activists. Craig Kelly has shown this a few times now.
The older generation of actual professional Meteorologists have slowly been driven out or retired out.
The result is this woke version of BOM, that never gets long range forecasts right, waffles on about heat waves, and produces error prone reports that are easily fact checked.
I remember reading stories of terrible flooding events in the 1800's and early 1900's in various parts of NSW. The described waters rising over house roofs. These days, every flood is "unprecedented", or historic or some such Climate change rubbish. Nup, every flood is just normal, people need to plan for their eventual arrival.
I suspect BOM will reply that they back-reduced all the temperatures recorded by specific methods - something related to the housing of the thermometers. I watched them do this reduction in real time, because at one point I'd ordered a lot of historical data, subsequently seeing temperatures being reduced later. I spoke with a meteorologist friend and had no reason to discredit the academic intent at the time, but I keep it in mind.
I agree that the energy of the young is being distracted away from very important issues. They are being tied up with the thrill of gender fluidity mixed with climate fear.
