A healthy mother-of-two from Sydney’s Northern Beaches was so badly injured by the third Pfizer vaccine that it put her in a wheelchair and she had to re-learn how to walk.
Melene Guevremont, 37, limped to the stage at Dee Why RSL on Tuesday to bravely tell her story of how the covid vaccines turned her life upside down.
Originally from Canada, Mel moved to the beachside suburb of Manly to enjoy working and raising her sons, now aged two and four.
She surfed the Northern Beaches from Narrabeen to Freshwater, and also loved kayaking, paddleboarding, snowboarding, swimming and rock-climbing.
“Unfortunately, this came to a drastic end after three Pfizer vaccines,” she said.
Mel developed severe nerve pain from the third vaccine that crippled her, and most likely it has left lasting nerve damage.
“Since my third jab, I have become severely injured and I now use a wheelchair most of the time,” she said.
“Although I look alright from the outside I can assure you my insides are falling apart.”
Mel described the excruciating pain that hit after her third Pfizer injection.
“I had buzzing and zapping in my feet, hands, and now it spread all over my body,” she said.
“I lost more than 10kgs and have severe muscle wasting and weakness.”
She now suffers a pre-fainting condition weekly that feels like breathing through a straw called “severe fainting syncope”, and when it hits she cannot lift her children.
“The pain is excruciating - it’s a mix of tendonitis and severe nerve pain - I can barely hold a cup of coffee. It’s off the charts.”
The vaccine is known to cause dysautonomia, a condition that disrupts the autonomic nervous system governing involuntary actions such as breathing and balance, but doctors don’t know why it happens.
“I have twitching all over my body, I have tendonitis in many limbs,” she said.
“I went from surfing the ocean waves to surfing a tsunami of medical bills.”
Mel had to sell her Manly unit to get a ground-level home for her wheelchair.
“This makes no sense - I was fit, happy and healthy just a few months ago.”
A raft of doctors, rheumatologists and neurologists have all told Mel they don’t know how to help her. She has only just re-learnt how to walk and was barely able to hobble about on Tuesday with the aid of a cane.
Corporate media such as the Guardian, Nine Entertainment’s The Age, Sydney Morning Herald, Channel Nine, and 60 Minutes, and the ABC including 4Corners and 7.30, have gone out of their way to ignore jab-injured people and have trivialised their plight by repeatedly insisting without evidence that covid vaccine side-effects are “rare” and typically minor, just because the government claims it.
The injuries are real, serious, and not rare at all.
Serious adverse events of special interest from the covid mRNA injections run at a rate of 1-in-800 shots according to Pfizer and Moderna’s own data, independently re-analysed by a team of doctors and scientists who published a peer-reviewed paper in the world’s most prestigious medical journal the BMJ.
Mel found a voice through Jab Injuries Australia, an offshoot of Jab Injuries Global, an organisation dedicated to helping jab-injured people tell their stories.
“Only then did I find people like me,” she said.
“I have been fortunate to join the team and help raise awareness of this rising crisis.”

Jab Injuries Australia has interviewed more than 350 Australians and shared their stories publicly.
“We have seen the most atrocious injuries … the worst being death,” she said.
“We’ve seen everything from strokes, heart attacks, miscarriages - many miscarriages - neurological issues, seizures, onset of Type-1 diabetes, menstrual changes, clots, shaking, paralysis, brain fog, fatigue, shortness of breath, rashes, auto-immune diseases, Bell’s Palsy, loss of speech and many more. We’ve seen it all. Yet the public has no clue about this.”
The one common denominator for these people was they were all fit and healthy before the jab, she said.
Doctors are not reporting all vaccine injuries and many times are not aware - not even asking if their patient had a covid vaccine prior to the onset of symptoms.
The Medical Boards and AHPRA used their regulatory power to threaten the medical licenses of any health workers who criticised the mRNA products back in March 2021 as the vaccines were rolled out, silencing them including on social media.
Australia’s health staff were all forced to inject the covid products, unlike Britain’s NHS workers. They had to comply or be economically suffocated because without a license, they can’t work.
This created a powerful psychological and financial incentive for doctors to notice nothing and say nothing through the voluntary, passive TGA vaccine injury reporting system the Database of Adverse Events Notification, DAEN.
Because injuries are not being reported the official jab injury statistics are completely wrong. They are vastly understated.
The TGA says it has reviewed 981 reports of vaccine deaths to find only 14 are “linked to” the covid products, as of its March 9 vaccine safety report.
There have been 137,858 total adverse event reports made to the TGA up to March 5, which is a rate of 2.1 per 1000 injections, it says.
This is bunk. It’s not true. It’s junk science from a failed passive reporting system that wasn’t used because of censorship and a climate of fear.
There are vastly greater numbers of vax-injured people in the community and they are not reported in the numbers. Just ask the people you know - do you know anyone who is jab injured? Did their doctor report it to the TGA? It’s self-evident.
Australia’s unexplained all-cause mortality rate has soared in 2022. Figures to 30 November reveal 22,886 extra deaths or 15.1 percent above the historical average according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics. Only 8824 of those deaths were due to covid. At least some of the remainder are due to the new gene-based vaccine products.
The rising rate of all-cause-mortality in 2022 has now been strongly correlated with covid vaccine uptake in 2021, in a robust pre-print study from Europe by academics at the Western Norway University of Applied Scientists (video below).
This is unsurprising as the TGA’s own report from January 2021, the Nonclinical Evaluation Report, based on Pfizer’s data and released under Freedom of Information disclosure 2389, shows inadequate testing, such as no distribution and degradation data on the mRNA (page 4). So they did not know how long the actual mRNA stayed in the body and where it went, as they had only tested a proxy (mRNA expressing luciferase instead of mRNA expressing the spike protein).
Autoimmune disease studies were not done nor were genotoxicity studies, or repeat-dose toxicity studies, the report says on page 6.
It also shows the lipid nanoparticle that the Pfizer mRNA was wrapped in goes everywhere throughout the body including the ovaries, spleen, liver and adrenal glands (page 44). They stopped the biodistribution study after two days as the concentrations were still increasing in the ovaries, so they did not test how long it would last for.
Senator Gerard Rennick said the first time this report was released, key data was redacted leaving people unaware of important information.
So it is not surprising that terrible side-effects are now surfacing as the products were not properly tested.
This problem has been greatly compounded by social media censorship which smeared and silenced the scientists, academics and doctors who warned about the vaccine problems, making it socially unacceptable, even career-ending, to talk about.
Repeatedly people had to preface what they said with “I’m not an anti-vaxxer…” and soon they fell silent.

Journalist Matt Taibbi, invited by Elon Musk to review the once-secret censorship at Twitter, has uncovered how Twitter, Facebook, Google, and other companies crushed true stories of vaccine injuries at the request of every level of US Government plus 20 quasi-private entities such as the Global Disinformation Index.
He recently made a statement to the US Congress about the suppression he found.
Less well-known is the fact the Australian Government was doing the exact same thing to silence Australian voices.
Department of Health and Aged Care Freedom of Information Disclosure Log entry 3953 shows they asked FaceBook to take down groups of vaccine injured Australians who were seeking support and sharing their stories with each other in 2021.
Letters From Australia has asked the Department why they suppressed vaccine-injured people and for their justification for this censorship. This story will be updated if any response is received.
UPDATE: the Department responded to say they monitored and responded to covid and vaccine-related “misinformation” on social media.
“Regarding the instance you have identified in FOI3953, the Department referred a group to Facebook for consideration in regards to suspected breaches of their social media policy. The group was then assessed by Facebook and Facebook found the group to be in breach of their policy.”
It is worth noting how insulting it is to vaccine injury survivors to have the true stories of their painful, life-altering injuries referred to as “misinformation”.
Australia’s corporate media outlets enthusiastically embraced the censorship to ‘prevent vaccine hesitancy’, never contemplating that if there is a real health threat from the vaccines that hesitancy might be the correct response.
They humiliated the vaccine-injured into silence by mocking those who raised problems as “cookers” (crazy) or “anti-vaxxers”, a hate-speech term designed to exaggerate them as unreasonably against all vaccines.
Now there is a huge and growing problem of vaccine-injured people while the Government continues to recommend more boosters without warning the public about the risks, which they have failed to accurately quantify.
“We’re talking about people’s lives,” Mel said.
“It’s a very important matter that’s not going to go away.”

To Mel (and every vaccine injured person): if you are reading this, you do not deserve what happened to you. I'm unvaccinated and fought very hard for you the past three years. I lost my 'credibility' in the process. The first two years were hard because the media-government-censorship complex pursued me relentlessly. I was mocked, ridiculed and told to die by the vaccinated, told I should be 'liquidated in a camp' by a neighbour of many years, subjected to invasive police action and I am still monitored. I never wanted any of the vaccinated to die or get hurt but every single person who targeted and mocked me (and still does to this day) is vaccinated. At some point, we are going to have to reconcile, but I never threw anyone out of my family for being vaccinated.
No one is emerging from this unscathed - this is your fight now and I am glad to see you stepping up and taking the torch because I am absolutely exhausted. I knew that in time, when the jab injured found their voice that the tide would turn. I'm here if you need me.
