New claims the TGA ‘did nothing’ about bad batches of mRNA that killed people, then extended its shelf life
Jikkyleaks uncovers alleged TGA “death batch scandal”
TGA allegedly ignored 10 batch codes that caused more than 1 death
TGA extended the shelf life of four of those codes to 15 months
Freedom of Information request took a year of back-and-forth to get the info
Peak Prosperity’s Chris Martenson says Pfizer employees got their own batch
Trailblazing scientist Jikkyleaks, kicked off Twitter before Elon Musk took over, has said Australia’s drug regulator the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) ignored “death batches” of mRNA vaccine.
In December 2021 a highly detailed freedom of information request (3471) for the details of specific bad batches was lodged.
The report has now come out, a year later - the TGA uploaded it on their Freedom of Information disclosure log on 21 December, 2022.
While it took a year for the information to come out, this is not because the TGA took a year to process it. The back-and-forth process to get the right information took time. The precurser FOI request 3471 was lodged on 6 December 2021 and partially rejected, with the information released on 9 March 2022 here.
The TGA published the information for the subsequent FOI 4077 within six weeks of receiving the request. Full TGA response to these issues at bottom of story.
Jikkyleaks, reinstated to Elon Musk’s Twitter, has scrutinised the batch log.
Ten batch numbers were documented to have more than 1 death recorded, including FL5333, FH3221 and 000062A, Jikkyleaks tweeted.
These are the “death batches” which potentially have manufacturing flaws making them more dangerous.
The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) allegedly did not warn the public about these death batches or withdraw them.
Instead, they extended the shelf life.
Pfizer’s vaccine batch number FL5333 was extended from 12 months to 15 months, according to the Federal Government’s Consent Guidance Material to healthcare providers, posted online here, archived here.
The TGA extended eight lines, Jikkyleaks reported, of which four were “death batch”.
Peak Prosperity scientist and webcaster Chris Martenson explained the scandal for the lay person on YouTube (below) but said more in his extended Rumble video.
Dr Martenson said on Rumble that seven separate batches of mRNA product were reserved for Pfizer employees.
These were not on the death batch log - and they weren’t tested by the TGA, he said.
Letters From Australia has asked the TGA for a response and will update this story with any reply.
UPDATE: 8 January 2023
The Therapeutic Goods Administration responded on 4 January 2023 to the following five questions asked by Letters From Australia on 30 December 2022:
1) There were 10 batch codes for which there were reports of more than 1 death (eg FL5333). Why weren't these batches withdrawn from the market?
2) Four of the "death batch" codes including FL5333 were included in the vaccine shelf-life extension.
Letters were sent to healthcare providers saying they could be extended from 12 to 15 months eg here.
Why weren't they just pulled from the market instead? Why did this happen?
3) Why wasn't the public warned?
4) Pfizer allegedly had 7 separate batch codes for its employees. These allegedly were not tested by the TGA. Why?
5) Why did it take an entire year from the FOI lodgement until the documents were published?
The TGA’s answer in full is reproduced below:
Since the beginning of the vaccine rollout almost 65 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been given in Australia. The TGA has identified 14 reports where the cause of death was linked to vaccination from 952 reports received and reviewed. Large scale vaccination means that some people will experience a new illness or die within a few days or weeks of vaccination. These events are often coincidental, rather than being caused by the vaccine. As the number of people being vaccinated increased, so did reporting of fatal events with a temporal association with vaccination. Review of these individual reports and patterns of reporting does not suggest that the vaccines played a role in the vast majority of these deaths.
All 14 deaths were related to known adverse events. 13 of these deaths occurred after the first dose of Vaxzevria (AstraZeneca) - 8 were associated with thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome (TTS) cases, 2 were linked to Guillain-Barre syndrome (GBS), 2 related to very rare conditions involving the nervous system, and one was a case of immune thrombocytopenia (ITP). One of the deaths occurred after a booster dose of the Spikevax vaccine and was related to myocarditis.
No batches of COVID-19 vaccines have been recalled as there is no evidence to suggest that a vaccine quality issue was related to any of the deaths reported. Furthermore, the TGA has not identified any safety signals that may relate to a quality issue for any COVID-19 vaccine.
All batches of Pfizer Comirnaty vaccine, including those used in the Pfizer’s employee vaccination program, have been assessed by TGA through the batch release process. The shipments for the Pfizer employee program were reviewed and tested by the European Official Control Authority Batch Release (OCABR) network of regulatory laboratories. The TGA process and the OCABR process are equivalent, which is why the TGA accepts a European OCABR certificate.
The assertion that it took a year from the FOI lodgement until the documents were published is false. FOI 4077 was received by the TGA on 8 November 2022, with the documents published on the FOI disclosure log on 21 December 2022.
UPDATE: 05 August 2023
Pfizer executives country medical director ANZ Krishan Thiru and head of regulatory affairs ANZ Brian Hewitt, admitted on camera to an Australian Senate inquiry hearing, August 3, 2023, that Pfizer had indeed imported separate batches for Pfizer employees.
Holy cheese indeed. If this was cheese, it would have been recalled, people would have been warned. Instead it's covered up.
